Production Planner
Production SchedulerStarting Pay Rate - $20- $28/hr.

30 pmJob DescriptionIn this position, you will plan and develop a production schedule for manufacturing products to meet delivery dates and/or achieve inventory levels or other distribution goals.
You will also coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule; review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine the progress of work and completion dates; compiling reports on the progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
Responsibilities include:
Additionally, will work on production job completions and be involved in inventory reconciliations and reporting.
Utilizes knowledge of production specifications, manufacturing processes, materials availability, and application of mathematical planning tools to develop a plan.
Monitors status of production results and prepares reports on results against plan.
Provides effective communication across cross-functional departments as it pertains to production flow.
Willingly modifies work schedule and duties to accommodate Company needs.
All other duties as assigned.
May require successful completion of specific education, training, or certifications.
RequirementsMinimum Education:
High School diploma Preferred Education:
Associates or Bachelor's degreeMinimum Skills/
Experience:
2 or more years of relevant experience.
Decision-making, effective time management, and good communication skills, plus MS Office and a high degree of excel Spreadsheet competency.
Preferred Skills/
Experience:
Above plus 5 or more years of relevant experience and thorough knowledge of company manufacturing operations.
Functional RequirementsRoutinely able to:
Carry up to 10 pounds a minimal distance of 100 feet Walk multiple distances of up to 300 feet Reach forward, less than 90 shoulder flexion Sit for prolonged periods of time Climb stairs of varying heights Bend at trunk Crouch Reach overhead, over 90 shoulder flexion Industry Leading
