Job DescriptionWe seek an innovative, results-oriented professional with strong technical skills who is looking for a rewarding, challenging, work opportunity.
This person will undertake challenging problems focused on continuous improvements and creating efficiencies.
This position will initially work at the Hometown BioEnergy plant located in LeSueur but will also work at other MMPA plants as needed.
Hometown BioEnergy converts feedstocks from local agricultural processing facilities into biogas which is used to produce 8 MW of electricity.
In 2023, Hometown BioEnergy will also begin to generate renewable natural gas.
The primary objectives of this position are focused on continuous process improvement, dealing with undefined and complex problems and identifying and performing root cause analysis of plant issues.
This position will report directly to the Asset Manager and will also interact with the senior management team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIESTechnicaloIdentify and perform root cause analysis of Plant issuesoPrepare technical reports for senior managementoDevelop O&M policies, practices, proceduresManagerialoDrive process improvements and plant efficiencyoCreate and maintain effective management reporting and track key performance indicatorsoParticipate in long range planningoDevelop action plans with senior managementoExecute plans to resolve plant problemsCOMPENSATIONCompensation includes a competitive base salary and an opportunity to earn an annual bonus.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONSoMinimum of 5 experience in a power production environment (process plant, production plant, power plant, wastewater treatment plant) or military command.
